Amanda Nixon, MSN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of healthcare experience, including neurosurgery, labor & delivery, women’s health, home healthcare, primary/urgent care, and perioperative nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University in 2002 and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2021.

Amanda specializes in integrative medicine, thyroid optimization, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, and somatic healing to help individuals achieve optimal health and well-being. As a certified Hypno-Breathwork facilitator, she integrates mind-body techniques to support emotional healing, trauma release, inner child work, and nervous system regulation.

She is also a strong advocate for medicinal cannabis and founded Maryland Green Consultants LLC founded in 2023, a wellness practice dedicated to providing safe access to medical cannabis and evidence-based integrative care. Amanda is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Cannabis Nurses Association, the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, and the Maryland Society of Integrative Medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, hiking, and spending time with her four children.
